1. Definitions
1.1. “Ben N Jacks Bouncy Castle Company Limited ( Ben N Jacks) ” refers to the company providing the bouncy castle hire services.
1.2. “Customer” refers to the individual, group, or entity hiring the bouncy castle from Ben N Jacks Bouncy Castle Company Limited
1.3. “Equipment” refers to the bouncy castle and any associated items provided by Ben and Jack’s Bouncy Castle Hire Company.
1.4. “Hire Period” refers to the duration for which the Equipment is hired, as agreed upon in writing between Ben N Jack’s Bouncy Castle Company and the Customer.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or when a deposit or the full amount has been paid. The deposit amount will be specified by Ben and Jacks and is non-refundable.
2.2. Full payment is required prior to the commencement of the Hire Period. Payment methods accepted will be specified by Ben and Jacks
2.3. In the event of cancellation by the Customer, the deposit will not be refunded.
2.4. Ben and Jack’s Bouncy Castle Hire Company reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time. In such cases, any payments made by the Customer will be refunded in full.
2.5 Cancellation of the bouncy castle when the operator arrives on site at the time of delivery will incur a charge
3. Equipment Use
3.1. The Customer agrees to use the Equipment in a safe and responsible manner, and in accordance with any provided instructions or guidelines.
3.2. The Equipment is intended for use by children only. Adults should supervise children at all times.
3.3. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the Equipment is not damaged or misused during the Hire Period. Any damage or misuse may result in additional charges.
3.4. The Equipment must not be moved from the location agreed upon with Ben and Jack’s Bouncy Castle Hire Company without prior written consent.
3.5. The Equipment has an age limit of 12 years (unless an adult castle has been hired). No one over this age should use the equipment.
3.6. No adults are to use this Inflatable unless an adult castle has been hired and is stated on page 3.
3.7. No food or drinks (including Alcohol) or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the Inflatable. This will avoid choking and mess (Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition, then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge).
3.8. All shoes, glasses, jewellery and badges MUST be removed before using this Inflatable.
3.9. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the Inflatable.
3.10. No smoking or barbeques near the Inflatable.
3.11. Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must NOT be allowed.
3.12. A responsible Adult must supervise the Inflatable at all times.
3.13. Try to avoid large and small Children/adults if hired an adult castle from using it at the same time. Always ensure that the Inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of children/adults if hired an adult castle, using it.
3.14. Ensure that children/adults if hired an adult castle, are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
3.15. No pets, toys or sharp instruments are allowed on or near the Inflatable.
3.16. If the Inflatable is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains.
3.17. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child/adult could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off!
3.18. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Inflatable or any child/adult if hired an adult castle, who is feeling unwell.
3.19. Do not allow anyone to be on the Inflatable during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.
3.20. Ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.
3.21. Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 meters) around the unit is completely clear.
3.22. The Inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.
3.23. In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Inflatable is switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
3.24. In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. The blower should be connected to a RCD device at the power point, try pressing this to reset it, also check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not please inform Ben N Jacks straight away on 07973861615
3.25. If you would like to hire the bouncy castle for a longer period of time then this is possible by calling 07973861615 at least one hour before the end of the time originally booked. This extra time will be charged at £10.00 (ten pounds) an hour Subject to availability.
3.26. Please note that all persons using this Inflatable do so at their own risk. The person/s or organization hiring this Inflatable equipment will be responsible / liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.
3.27. Once delivered the unit/units must be paid for in full.
4. Liability
4.1. Ben and Jacks shall not be liable for any injury or damage caused by the Equipment, except where such injury or damage is directly caused by the negligence of Ben and Jack’s Bouncy Castle Hire Company.
4.2. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ben and Jacks from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the Equipment.
4.3. Ben and Jacks shall not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property left unattended in the vicinity of the Equipment.
5. Termination
5.1. Ben and Jack’s Bouncy Castle Hire Company reserves the right to terminate the Hire Period at any time if the Customer fails to comply with these terms and conditions.
5.2. In the event of termination, the Customer will not be entitled to a refund of any payments made.
6. General
6.1. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Ben and Jack’s Bouncy Castle Hire Company and the Customer and supersede any previous agreements or understandings.
6.2. These terms and conditions may be amended by Ben and Jack’s Bouncy Castle Hire Company at any time. Any such amendments will be communicated to the Customer in writing.
6.3. Any failure by Ben and Jacks to enforce these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of any rights or remedies under this agreement.
By making a booking with Ben and Jacks, the Customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
